Lead Data Engineer
Job Summary
To drive the modernization of data ecosystems, the full-time Lead Data Engineer will provide technical leadership for data portfolios, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure data solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Data Integration Frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure systems, including data warehouses and lakes, while applying ETL/ELT techniques
- Oversee engineering data initiatives and projects, creating data collection frameworks and enforcing best practices for data governance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of experience in leading data engineering teams and implementing scalable ETL/ELT solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, data modeling, and application development
- Knowledge of modern data engineering architectures and enterprise data governance concepts
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a strong understanding of automation frameworks and software engineering best practices
