Job Summary
Joining a team to build and support a new AWS-based wealth data ingestion platform, the full-time Lead Data Engineer will manage data validation, processing, and transformation while leveraging AWS services and Python in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the AWS-based wealth data ingestion platform, ensuring efficient data processing and validation
- Investigate and resolve issues related to failed or incomplete data ingestion runs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize outputs for downstream enterprise consumers
Required qualifications
- Proven experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, S3, and Aurora/Postgres
- Strong proficiency in Python and data engineering principles
- Experience with data ingestion workflows and validation processes
- Knowledge of financial services or wealth management data is preferred
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex data environment
