Lead Data Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines, the full-time remote Lead Data Engineer will manage cloud infrastructure and establish engineering practices to support marketing analytics and machine learning applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure to support marketing analytics
- Establish production-ready engineering practices and mentor other engineers on the team
- Collaborate with data scientists and business partners to ensure effective data integration and governance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or a minimum of six years of relevant work experience
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering tools such as Snowflake and dbt
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and production deployment
- Ability to provide technical leadership and establish engineering best practices across teams
