Job Summary
To support healthcare initiatives, the full-time Lead Data Engineer will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architecture while working remotely, ensuring data quality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust data infrastructure, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Lead the development and optimization of data pipelines for healthcare payer and clinical data
- Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with care delivery models
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role preferred
- Preferred 3+ years of healthcare data experience with knowledge of healthcare data structures
- Proficient in SQL, Python, ETL tools, and Orchestration Tools within the Microsoft stack
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
