Lead Data Engineering Architect

Job Summary

Driving the design, build, and management of enterprise data warehousing infrastructure, the full-time Lead Data Engineering Architect will focus on core data engineering tasks, including API integration and foundational pipeline development, in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and builds enterprise data models using Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server ecosystems
• Develops ingestion and consumption pipeline architectures to efficiently harvest data from various source systems
• Architects and delivers API integration layers for real-time and batch-driven data exchanges across software systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years leading enterprise-scale pipeline and API architecture
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data solutions within Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft data stack
• Strong understanding of API-driven data extraction techniques and modern data orchestration tools
• Working experience integrating enterprise software platforms such as NetSuite and Microsoft CRM
