Lead Data Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Rebuilding the company's data pipeline from the ground up, the full-time Lead Data Platform Engineer will modernize the platform and establish scalable solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Rebuild and modernize legacy data pipelines, creating scalable ingestion, processing, and storage solutions
- Design and develop integrations for APIs, vendor file feeds, and external data sources
- Develop and manage AWS infrastructure utilizing Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization best practices
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in building and supporting large-scale data platforms or data engineering environments
- Proven experience in re-architecting or modernizing data pipelines and infrastructure
- Strong experience with backend development technologies such as Python, Node.js, Go, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
- Advanced SQL and data warehousing expertise with platforms like Redshift or Snowflake
