Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

As a Lead Data Scientist, this full-time remote position will own the path from revenue opportunity to production machine learning for Direct Revenue, focusing on building and deploying ML systems to enhance user engagement and monetization strategies across Life360's extensive user base.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep investigations into revenue-generating options and analyze data to inform product changes
• Design, build, deploy, and operate production ML systems for personalization and experimentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML systems into user-facing features and monitor their performance

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in a field requiring sophisticated statistical analysis or equivalent industry experience
• 6+ years of experience in scoping, building, and analyzing ML-powered systems, including production models
• Significant programming experience with Python, scikit-learn, and PySpark
• Technical training and experience in modern causal inference techniques
• Hands-on experience with consumer technology experiments, including design and analysis
