Job Summary

Owning the development of predictive models, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will work remotely to optimize auto insurance carrier visibility and media buying strategies, ensuring high conversion rates and effective data utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Build and validate models to enhance carrier visibility and optimize media spending based on conversion data
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to frame problems and find relevant data for model development
• Monitor and deploy production models while adapting to market changes and user behavior

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on applied data science experience with measurable business impact
• Demonstrated experience in driving paid media decisions through model development
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a deep understanding of neural network fundamentals
• Experience managing models end-to-end, from data acquisition to deployment and monitoring
• Ability to navigate challenges such as late labels, sparse features, and data drift
