Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Lead Data Scientist will build and validate models for auto insurance marketplace media buying, focusing on optimizing carrier conversion and managing data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement models to optimize carrier visibility for auto insurance shoppers, enhancing conversion rates
• Manage the end-to-end process of model development, from data acquisition to deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to frame problems and ensure model outputs align with business objectives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on applied data science experience with measurable business impact
• Proven experience in driving paid media decisions through model development, including spend and bidding strategies
• Expertise in Python and SQL for data manipulation and model building
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including neural networks and model architecture
• Experience handling challenges such as late labels, sparse features, and data drift in model training
