Job Summary

To drive impactful outcomes in the AdTech space, the full-time remote Lead Data Scientist will build and validate models for auto insurance carrier conversions and media spend, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and an ML engineer throughout the deployment process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement models to optimize carrier visibility for auto insurance shoppers, enhancing conversion rates
• Manage the end-to-end process of model building, from data acquisition to deployment and monitoring
• Oversee automated marketplace bidding strategies, ensuring models adapt to changing market conditions and user behavior

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on applied data science experience with measurable business impact
• Proven track record of developing models that influence paid media decisions, including spend and bidding strategies
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with the ability to explain technical details of models and architectures
• Experience managing data challenges such as late labels, sparse features, and model drift
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with cross-functional teams
