Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support a growing AdTech initiative, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will build and validate models for auto insurance carrier conversion and media spend, working remotely while collaborating with an ML engineer on production deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement models that optimize carrier visibility for auto insurance shoppers based on conversion likelihood
• Manage the integration of carrier conversion data into production models and automate marketplace bidding processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to frame problems, find data, and ensure models are monitored and maintained post-deployment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on applied data science experience with measurable business impact
• Proven track record of developing models that influence paid media decisions, including spend and bidding strategies
• Strong understanding of neural network fundamentals and the ability to explain technical details of model architecture
• Experience handling data challenges such as late labels, sparse features, and data drift
• Expertise in Python and SQL for data manipulation and model development
