Lead Data Scientist

Job Summary

Leading the development of innovative data science solutions, the full-time Lead Data Scientist will work remotely to address complex business challenges through advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making while mentoring team members and collaborating with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for data science initiatives, shaping technical vision and driving key decisions with clients
• Partner with clients to translate business objectives into advanced analytics solutions and oversee solution architecture from concept to production
• Analyze large datasets and develop, train, and validate statistical, predictive, and machine learning models while maintaining high coding standards

Required qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in data science or software development, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience in leading technical execution of complex analytics initiatives and setting technical strategies and roadmaps
• Proven ability to design end-to-end solution architectures and build solutions in Azure
• Advanced hands-on Python skills, including experience with code reviews and enforcing coding standards
• Strong client-facing consulting experience with exceptional communication skills for both technical and business audiences
