Lead Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
To shape a growing engineering practice, the remote Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Enablement) will own the vision for applying AI to business problems, build AI applications and workflows, and mentor engineers while driving technical direction and strategy across various functions at Reddit.
Key responsibilities
- Build AI applications, agents, and workflow automations that address business challenges
- Translate business problems into AI-native workflows and technical delivery plans
- Organize and mentor engineering teams, establishing architecture and practices for reliable solutions
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including AI applications and workflows
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering and production judgment
- Experience with API integrations, data systems, and enterprise tools
- Hands-on experience in building and deploying AI agents and applications
- Demonstrated technical leadership through architecture decisions and mentoring
