Lead Design Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of an enterprise design language system, the full-time remote Lead Design Engineer will ensure consistency and innovation across digital products while mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of the design language system, ensuring scalability and accessibility
• Design and build design system infrastructure, including token systems and documentation
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to the strategic direction of design and technology initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Design, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Five years of professional design engineering experience with complex or enterprise-level design language systems
• Expertise in design thinking principles and design engineering
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with business partners and leadership
• Certification in Design, User Experience Design, or development is strongly desired
