Lead Design Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Lead Design Engineer, the candidate will develop core system components and design systems for web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality AI design and code generation while collaborating closely with designers and engineers.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop core system components and feedback loops to enhance AI design and code generation
• Ensure system decisions translate effectively into code, maintaining quality, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to gather feedback and improve system usability

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in design engineering, product design, or front-end engineering
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience with design systems or component libraries, supported by a portfolio
• Strong interaction and visual design skills, with knowledge of design tokens and accessibility standards
• Experience using AI tools in design processes and integrating them with design systems
