Lead Developer
Job Summary
Leading the engineering efforts on a Drupal and React platform, the full-time Lead Developer will oversee the development of new datasets, interactive tools, and dashboards, ensuring the platform's security, compliance, and modernization while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for the Drupal and React platform, including integration and custom module development
- Lead the technical design and development of new data products and features while maintaining compliance and security standards
- Manage release processes and oversee testing, incident response, and disaster recovery efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of Drupal development experience, with a minimum of 3 years integrating React front-ends with Drupal backends
- Minimum of 8 years of overall web development experience, including expertise in Acquia-hosted environments and SQLite/MySQL
- Subject matter expertise in open data standards, Agile SDLC, and familiarity with CDN technologies
- Experience maintaining a secure, FISMA-compliant codebase and familiarity with CMS Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
