Job Summary
To support the NextEra Energy Analytics team, the contract-to-hire Lead Developer will be responsible for providing technical direction, mentoring developers, and actively coding in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead software development efforts while maintaining hands-on coding responsibilities
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical direction to ensure project success
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Substantial hands-on coding experience as a lead software developer
- Full-stack development experience, preferably with strong backend capabilities
- Proficient in Python for enterprise applications and familiar with Vue.js or similar frameworks
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP, including API and microservices development
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring abilities
