Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Leading software teams, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and tooling for deploying software focused on advanced algorithms and autonomous platforms, with the flexibility to work remotely or from various locations including Arlington, VA, Woburn, MA, or Dayton, OH.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure for software deployment in operational use
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring throughout the software development lifecycle
- Develop software tools and applications for mission planning systems and CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field with 7+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, ECR, EC2, and containerization with Kubernetes
- Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD and scripting/automation with Python
- Strong Linux skills and experience leading agile teams
- Demonstrated success in driving industry best practices for software development
