Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Leading software teams in a hybrid work environment, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and tooling for deploying advanced algorithms and software systems for autonomous platforms while providing technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for operational software deployment
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring across software development projects, from prototypes to integrated systems
- Develop software tools and applications for mission planning, automated control processes, and unmanned platforms
Required qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field with 7+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, ECR, EC2, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes
- Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD and scripting/automation using Python
- Strong Linux skills and experience leading agile teams through the complete development lifecycle
- Demonstrated success in implementing industry best practices for software quality assurance
