Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Leading a team of DevOps engineers, the full-time remote Lead DevOps Engineer will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and infrastructure while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
Required qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in a DevOps role, with 2 years in a leadership position
- Expert knowledge of cloud concepts and services, including AWS
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools like Terraform
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills for automation and tooling
