Lead Electrical Designer

Job Summary

Managing a team of electrical designers, the full-time Lead Electrical Designer will oversee the development of electrical raceway systems for power generation projects while ensuring adherence to budget and schedule, collaborating with various disciplines, and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage electrical design activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets
• Track and report design progression to project management and coordinate with construction teams for safe and cost-effective designs
• Mentor design team members and check design deliverables for accuracy and quality

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in electrical design
• Experience leading electrical design teams and managing project budgets and schedules
• Power generation experience is preferred
• Familiarity with SmartPlant 3D and ability to conceptualize in a 3D environment
• Ability to work independently in a multi-discipline team environment
