Lead Email Developer
Job Summary
To support a growing marketing automation team, the freelance Lead Email Developer will build, QA, and deploy email and SMS campaigns while directing a team of contractor developers to ensure high-quality standards and compliance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build, QA, and deploy email and SMS campaigns, including HTML/CSS templates and dynamic content
- Lead and manage a team of contractor developers, assigning work and providing feedback

Required qualifications

- Advanced technical skills in HTML, CSS, Liquid, and email rendering best practices
- Strong knowledge of campaign execution, including segmentation, personalization, and deployment readiness
- Experience leading and mentoring developers, including code reviews and quality control
