Job Summary
Leading a multidisciplinary squad of engineers, the full-time remote Lead Engineer will shape the architectural direction of the financial health product by designing systems, managing integrations, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of transactions and balances.
Key responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts to meet ambitious targets
- Design and implement reliable systems within a distributed micro-services architecture while managing team productivity
- Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors and create detailed technical documentation for all solutions
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Expert-level proficiency in Go (Golang) and/or Python
- Deep expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL) with a focus on transaction isolation and schema migrations
- Strong experience with Kafka for building resilient workflows
- Advanced knowledge of AWS technologies and container orchestration using Docker/Kubernetes
