Lead Engineer, Analytics and Growth

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Lead Engineer, Analytics and Growth will manage the technical strategy for analytics infrastructure and member onboarding, while actively writing code and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and coach a team of engineers across Analytics and Member Growth while actively participating in coding and code reviews
• Own the technical strategy and architecture for Circle's analytics stack, including data visualizations and LLM-powered experiences
• Develop and oversee the roadmap for Member Growth, focusing on onboarding flows and activation strategies to enhance user engagement

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in shipping production software on complex web applications, including proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL/PostgreSQL, ReactJS, and TypeScript
• Prior experience leading or managing engineering teams with a strong track record in data/analytics infrastructure or growth/lifecycle product engineering
• Strong product mindset with the ability to shape requirements and make independent decisions in a SaaS environment
• Comfortable working in collaborative environments with stakeholders across various teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent)
