Lead Engineer, Analytics Platform
Job Summary
Leading the technical direction of an analytics platform, the full-time remote Lead Engineer, Analytics Platform will manage full stack product development, embed AI capabilities into analytics products, and mentor a team of engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design and development across the stack, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of AWS-based analytics solutions
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI and machine learning into analytics products, partnering with data scientists to transition models into production
- Support and mentor a team of engineers, establishing best practices for code quality and delivery processes
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full stack development
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Demonstrated experience applying AI or machine learning in production analytics products
- Strong front end skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React, along with back end skills in Python
- Working knowledge of core AWS services relevant to data and analytics
