Lead Engineer/Architect (.NET)
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Lead Engineer/Architect (.NET) to architect and build the next generation of an online banking platform for US banks and credit unions, while mentoring a small agile team and collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and hands-on build the ASP.NET Core/C# online banking platform, including system design and API contracts
- Lead and mentor an agile team, managing sprints and ensuring delivery commitments are met
- Collaborate with technology leaders and product teams to translate business needs into effective solutions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building modern, data-intensive .NET web applications with a proven track record in a tech lead role
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET, with strong SQL and REST API experience
- Experience in financial services or online banking, preferably with platforms serving US banks or credit unions
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript/UI frameworks like Angular or React, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
- Strong understanding of security and compliance standards relevant to regulated financial institutions (PCI DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC)
