Lead Engineer - Data Platforms
Job Summary
To drive innovative engineering solutions, the full-time Lead Engineer - Data Platforms will design and build scalable, cloud-native platforms while working remotely on a long-term contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of end-to-end engineering solutions across data generation, ingestion, and analytics
- Own the architecture, technical design, and engineering delivery, including code reviews and sprint planning
- Implement AI/ML solutions and drive performance engineering initiatives such as load testing and capacity planning
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud-native application development
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js/TypeScript and Python, along with modern React/TypeScript
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of performance engineering principles and AI technologies
