Lead Estimator
Job Summary
Leading a team of estimators, the full-time Lead Estimator will oversee technical reviews and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical, structural, and civil projects while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and mentor regional project estimators, focusing on technical project requirements and personnel needs
- Lead the Pre-Construction team in preparing deliverables, including proposals, schedules, and cash flow analyses
- Analyze project documentation to prepare cost estimates and assess project risks and cost-saving opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in the Electrical High Voltage, Utility, or Renewables Industry
- Knowledge of estimating for substation and battery energy storage projects, including protection and control schemes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera for preparing construction schedules
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications
