Job Summary
Leading a dedicated ETL development team, the full-time Lead ETL Data Engineer will architect and implement data ingestion pipelines using Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, while mentoring developers and ensuring data quality in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development of ETL and data ingestion processes for migration from GCP BigQuery to SQL-based data warehouses
- Architect and implement pipelines using modern ETL tools and cloud-native data processing frameworks
- Train and mentor a team of 4+ ETL developers on best practices and data model design
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on ETL development experience
- Expertise with modern ETL and reporting/BI tools
- Demonstrated experience with Google Cloud Dataform and BigQuery
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead guiding teams of 4 or more developers
