Lead ETL Developer
Job Summary
To support the VISION CWIS FACS Conversion Initiative, the remote Lead ETL Developer will design, build, and deploy data ingestion and migration pipelines from Google Cloud Platform BigQuery to SQL data warehouses while mentoring a team of ETL developers and ensuring data quality and performance standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Lead development of ETL and data ingestion processes for migration from GCP BigQuery to SQL-based environments
- Architect and implement pipelines using modern ETL tools and cloud-native data processing frameworks
- Train and mentor a team of ETL developers on best practices and data model design
Required qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on ETL development experience
- Expertise with modern ETL and reporting/BI tools
- Strong understanding of enterprise data models and ETL pipeline design best practices
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead guiding teams of 4 or more developers
- Demonstrated experience with Google Cloud Dataform, BigQuery, and Medallion Architecture
