Lead Financial Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) Multi-County Model, the fully remote Lead Financial Operations Analyst will manage financial operations, oversee provider reimbursement and county billing, and ensure compliance with fiscal practices while serving as a subject matter expert in behavioral health financing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations across multiple county jurisdictions, including provider reimbursement and billing processes
• Perform financial reconciliations and analyze service utilization and reimbursement trends to maintain financial integrity
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and reporting tools to support DMC-ODS operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in behavioral health finance, managed care operations, or Medicaid/Medi-Cal administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of DMC-ODS financing, provider reimbursement, and financial monitoring
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial or data management systems
• Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders preferred
