Lead Fund Accountant
Job Summary
Supervising a team of fund accountants, the full-time remote Lead Fund Accountant for Alternative Investments will manage daily operations, perform comprehensive reviews of accounting work, and provide mentorship and training while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage associate performance, conduct appraisals, and oversee staffing changes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations, including SEC, IRS, and GAAP
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating issue resolution and maintaining strong client relationships
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, or a related field
- At least 7 years of fund accounting experience
- Understanding of Fund Administration for Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate Investments
