Lead Industrial AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Cordant Process Optimization Product Team, the full-time Lead Industrial AI Engineer will develop machine learning and optimization solutions for industrial processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop machine learning and hybrid modeling solutions for industrial applications, utilizing advanced process control and optimization knowledge
• Evaluate model performance and integrate machine learning models with optimization workflows and industrial systems
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver features aligned with product roadmaps and customer needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline such as Chemical Engineering, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics
• Experience in developing machine learning models for engineering or industrial applications
• Strong Python programming skills with experience in scientific and machine learning libraries
• Knowledge of process modeling and advanced process control methods
• Practical experience with various neural network architectures and sequence modeling approaches
