Lead Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the charge in cybersecurity, the remote Lead Information Security Engineer will provide technical leadership and hands-on execution across Red Team functions, focusing on advanced penetration testing and adversarial emulation to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in enterprise systems and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, leading penetration testing and threat-based security assessments
• Manage the planning, execution, and reporting of complex security assessments across various platforms and systems
• Direct Adversarial Cybersecurity Emulation (ACE) engagements, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver actionable security recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing or offensive security experience; 7+ years in Information Security
• Professional certifications in penetration testing such as GPEN, GWAPT, OSCP, or equivalent
• Proven experience leading complex penetration tests and adversarial exercises
• Deep expertise in MITRE ATT&CK and modern cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and exploit techniques
