Lead Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To drive instructional design strategy, the full-time Lead Instructional Designer will manage complex learning initiatives, oversee the transition to a custom Learning Management System (LMS), and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central driver for learning initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations and project timelines
• Lead the migration to a custom LMS, defining system requirements and guiding external developers
• Collaborate with team members to establish scalable design systems and create interactive learning experiences

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of instructional design experience in a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment
• Hands-on experience with LMS implementations and a deep understanding of instructional design needs
• Technical aptitude in navigating API documentation and building technical curriculum
• Advanced proficiency in modern authoring and media tools such as Articulate 360 and Camtasia
• Familiarity with transitioning from standard Customer Education platforms to custom environments
