Job Summary

Leading a small engineering team, the remote Lead Machine Learning Engineer will manage the machine learning lifecycle from data preparation to deployment, focusing on model adaptation, training infrastructure, and continuous production improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, training, evaluation, and deployment
• Engineer GPU-based training environments while optimizing for memory utilization and scalability
• Drive production readiness through deployment planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of models and infrastructure

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience delivering machine learning systems in production
• Strong understanding of large models and practical experience with model optimization
• Advanced Python development skills, particularly with frameworks like PyTorch or JAX
• Experience with GPU training and inference techniques
• Ability to navigate complex technical challenges and provide clear technical direction
