Lead Monitoring Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance operational visibility and reliability, the contract Lead Monitoring & Observability Engineer will design and implement monitoring solutions, establish performance standards, and mentor engineers while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain SLOs, performance objectives, and monitoring standards across enterprise environments
- Design and automate monitoring platforms, dashboards, and alert systems to improve operational stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive observability solutions and mentor junior engineers on best practices
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in monitoring and observability engineering within enterprise infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Elastic/ELK, alerting, logging, and telemetry pipelines
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with enterprise network monitoring and related technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
