Lead Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Leading vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, the full-time Lead Penetration Tester will work in a hybrid remote capacity, applying advanced knowledge of computer forensics and security to identify weaknesses in Federal Student Aid information systems and provide actionable remediation guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-scope and targeted vulnerability assessments and penetration tests of information systems
• Develop assessment plans, methodologies, and reporting approaches while coordinating with system owners and stakeholders
• Prepare technical reports and prioritize remediation recommendations based on findings and business impact

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required
• More than 10 years of experience in penetration testing and security assessments
• Bachelor's degree
• Senior industry professional certification such as CISSP or equivalent
• Demonstrated technical or management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
