Lead Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Lead Platform Engineer in a full-time remote capacity, the position focuses on designing and building scalable, self-service platform capabilities that enhance software delivery and developer productivity while reducing operational overhead.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement GitHub Enterprise-based DevOps platforms and CI/CD solutions using GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Design self-service platform capabilities for infrastructure management and automate lifecycle management with Terraform and cloud-native services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevSecOps practices and evaluate AI-powered platform engineering solutions
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Cloud Architecture
- Strong expertise with GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes platforms
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python
- Experience implementing GitOps methodologies using tools such as ArgoCD
