Lead Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Lead Platform Engineer, this full-time position will focus on designing, building, and evolving the Operational Decisioning Platform, managing complex core components, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, implementation, and delivery of platform capabilities, ensuring scalable and secure solutions
- Design and build secure distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, focusing on multi-tenant isolation and cross-account communication
- Establish architectural standards and mentor other engineers, guiding technical direction and best practices
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with production distributed systems
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud-native architecture and security engineering, including mTLS and identity management
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and experience with SQL and database technologies
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
