Lead Power BI Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote contract Lead Power BI Developer who will design, develop, test, and deliver modern reporting solutions to support daily business operations and analytical initiatives while serving as a technical lead for the development team.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop reporting solutions using data sourced from BigQuery-based data marts
- Mentor team members and ensure adherence to governance, security, and documentation standards for Power BI assets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate data elements for enterprise reporting needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in an enterprise environment
- 5+ years of expertise with modern ETL and reporting/BI tools
- Proven ability to serve as a Technical Lead for a team of 4 or more developers
- Strong understanding of data models and data visualization best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for addressing both technical and non-technical audiences
