Lead Power BI Developer
Job Summary
To support a critical conversion initiative, the remote Lead Power BI Developer will guide a team in migrating data from GCP BigQuery to an enterprise SQL data warehouse, redesigning legacy reports into modern Power BI solutions while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development, redesign, and modernization of legacy reporting into new Power BI solutions
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to a team of 4+ Power BI developers
- Collaborate with business partners and data engineers to ensure accurate data sourcing from BigQuery data marts
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in an enterprise environment
- Proven ability to serve as a Technical Lead for a team of 4 or more developers
- Strong understanding of data models, data visualization best practices, and enterprise reporting standards
- Demonstrated experience with ETL and Reporting/BI tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for addressing both technical and non-technical audiences
