Lead Power BI Developer
Job Summary
To support a transformative initiative, the remote Lead Power BI Developer will provide technical leadership, mentor a team of developers, and oversee the design and development of high-quality reporting solutions leveraging Power BI and BigQuery data marts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and migration of legacy reports into enterprise Power BI solutions
- Serve as the technical lead for a team of Power BI developers, providing mentoring and technical direction
- Establish and promote Power BI development standards and best practices while collaborating with stakeholders to define reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in a production environment
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization
- Proven experience serving as a Technical Lead for a team of 4 or more developers
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and enterprise reporting architectures
- Experience with report testing, data validation, and quality assurance processes
