Lead Pricing Specialist

Job Summary

Leading pricing strategy and cost model development, the full-time Lead Pricing Specialist will manage complex public-sector pricing initiatives, especially for state government contracts, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy and development of cost proposals in response to state government RFPs, ensuring compliance with procurement requirements
• Interpret government solicitation documents to identify pricing obligations, risks, and opportunities while developing comprehensive cost models
• Prepare executive pricing summaries and manage post-submission pricing activities, including clarifications and contract negotiations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in pricing, proposal development, and financial modeling, particularly for state and local government contracts
• Demonstrated experience leading pricing efforts for state government RFPs and developing compliant cost proposals
• Strong understanding of state government procurement processes and public-sector contracting requirements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including development of complex pricing models and financial analyses
