Job Summary
Leading design initiatives for Acorns Early and Early Invest, the full-time contract Lead Product Designer will manage design direction, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and enhance user experiences while working remotely for a duration of 4 months.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design across multiple initiatives, from problem framing to high-fidelity design and handoff
- Partner with product and engineering leads to shape project scope and prioritize tasks
- Prototype and test ideas quickly to validate direction before engineering investment
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing consumer mobile work
- Proven ability to set design direction and drive alignment across teams
- Strong strategic and conceptual thinking with excellent interaction and visual craft
- Experience guiding other designers through feedback and critique
- Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
