Job Summary
To shape the design direction and quality for a cross-functional squad, the contract Lead Product Designer will influence the roadmap, mentor design peers, and deliver prototypes using a Figma-based enterprise design system, all while working remotely for a 12-month duration.
Key responsibilities
- Set design direction and govern design quality for key areas within the product
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment to influence the roadmap
- Lead co-creation efforts and mentor team members while ensuring the final product aligns with design standards
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of digital product design experience with a proven track record of shipping high-quality work
- Expertise in high-fidelity UI, design systems, and responsive design, along with experience in a SAFe environment
- Strong command of Figma and familiarity with AI-augmented design workflows
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders, articulating design decisions clearly
