Lead Product Owner, Finance Systems

Job Summary

Owning the systems and workflows that power the finance organization, the full-time Lead Product Owner, Finance Systems will manage the finance technology portfolio, including NetSuite and other tools, while collaborating with various teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the product owner for core finance business processes, defining target-state processes and measuring success based on value add and accuracy
• Lead complex problem-solving initiatives related to international expansion and new product offerings, ensuring effective design and implementation
• Develop and maintain a holistic architecture strategy for finance applications, optimizing workflows and eliminating manual processes through automation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance systems, including 5+ years of direct NetSuite experience with complex configurations
• Experience as a product owner or manager in finance business processes, with a strong understanding of discovery, design, and roadmap ownership
• Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technology levels
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous, high-stakes process challenges with autonomy and strategic decision-making
• Deep knowledge of trends in SaaS finance applications and experience with change management best practices
