Lead Product Owner, Finance Systems

Job Summary

Owning the finance systems and workflows, the full-time Lead Product Owner, Finance Systems will manage the finance technology portfolio, including NetSuite and other tools, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the product owner for core finance business processes, defining target-state processes and owning the roadmap
• Lead complex problem-solving initiatives related to international expansion and new product offerings
• Develop a holistic architecture strategy for finance applications, ensuring seamless data integration and workflow optimization

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance systems, with 5+ years of direct NetSuite experience in a global, multi-entity environment
• Proven product owner or manager experience in finance business processes, with a strong understanding of discovery and process design
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of mentoring and setting technical standards
• Ability to navigate ambiguous, high-stakes process challenges with a high degree of autonomy
• Deep knowledge of trends in SaaS finance applications and best practices for change management and regulatory compliance
