Lead Proposal Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of high-quality technical proposals and project cost estimates, the full-time Lead Proposal Engineer in Renewables will coordinate pursuit teams, manage proposal schedules, and ensure compliance with client needs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and submission of medium-complexity and highly complex proposals with minimal oversight
• Review RFPs and technical documents to identify compliance requirements and scope gaps, and coordinate proposal kickoff activities
• Manage fee estimating and technical editing processes to ensure proposals are accurate, compelling, and aligned with client expectations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, structural, mechanical, or civil)
• Five to ten years of relevant experience in proposal development, engineering, project management, or related fields in Power and Renewables
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage concurrent proposals and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications and project requirements
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the United States
