Lead Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
Owning the order-to-cash process, the full-time Lead Revenue Accountant will manage invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the entire order-to-cash process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms
- Manage the revenue recognition process, including monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Lead new billing and revenue system implementations while creating automation workflows to enhance efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in billing, accounts receivable, and revenue accounting at a high-growth SaaS company
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
- Experience building and utilizing automations for process improvement
- Familiarity with NetSuite and modern billing and collections systems
